Imagine That!

Faux Stained Glass

Instructor: Cindy Fisher, VISTA for TCCA

** Location: Memorial Middle School Cafeteria (Chestnut and College)

You’ll create a colorful piece of art on a panel of glass that can be used as coffee table art, lean in a window or hang. No lead or heat is used - Imagine That! The first day we’ll discuss how stained glass art is made using lead and then learn how we’ll create ours, lead-free. We’ll choose a design and then create our faux lead. The second day, we’ll label each section as to the colors selected, finishing by brushing on our color. Students will have the opportunity to display their faux stained glass at the Art Centre throughout the summer.

9:15 – 10:15 a.m.

Age: 5th grade – Teens

Maximum: 10 Students

Tuition: $15 (supplies provided by TCCA) (an immediate family of two or more, deduct $5 off each

student)

Deposit: None, pre-registration required

Watercolor Workshop

Instructor: Grahame Hopkins, professional artist
